Overall Purpose of the Role

As a Customer Helpdesk Associate (Zendesk), you will be the first point of contact for clients reaching out to the Help Desk of our, industry leading, Software as a Service client. In this role, you will be providing helpful and timely responses to customers in order to achieve satisfactory results or escalate tickets when and as needed. Leveraging the Zendesk Platform, you will be the front line to respond to tickets in order to resolve them or redirect them for resolution all while documenting engagement and providing professional communications to the customer.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: PHP 35,000 – 40,000
  • This role pursues a hybrid work setup, incorporating remote work and in-office work at our Alabang location
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 PM – 6 AM (training); Shifting Monday to Friday and Friday to Tuesday 1 AM – 10 AM Manila time (live operations)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting help desk requests received via Zendesk or via email and providing timely, and effective resolutions with a customer first focus
  • Effectively managing Level 1 trouble tickets at various stages of completion to support efficient and well communicated resolutions to customers
  • Mastering internal processes required to efficiently and effectively address tickets and to escalate requests to Help Desk Level 2 support when and as needed
  • Proactively identifying clients with recurring issues or requests that are not resolved to their satisfaction and escalating as needed
  • Leveraging outstanding English communication skills in order to communicate the root causes of issues to customers in non-technical terms
  • Working with multiple teammates to find, analyze, and resolve client issues while adhering to the client’s standards and resolution targets
  • Identifying opportunities for new articles in the current Knowledge Base for support for common inquiries and expanding on other knowledge base articles when available

Essential Qualifications

  • 2 years professional experience in supporting a SaaS application
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in using a ticketing system to support clients
  • Excellent communication skills in order to assist customers with the best available help and the ability to convey technical information in a non-technical manner
  • Outstanding critical thinking skills with the ability to ask intelligent questions to deliver the best aid for clients with issues

Desirable Qualifications

  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Prior experience with Zendesk
