Overall Purpose of The Job

  • Ensures that documents of joining crew are properly scanned and saved in their respective 201 folders on the shared drive.
  • Encodes seafarer information into the computer data base.
  • Ensures accurate encoding of seafarers’ data into the computer data base.
  • Ensures that the documents of joining crew are scanned and saved prior departure.

 

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

1. Encodes applicants’ personal details into the crew system.
2. Prints out CV of proposed candidates for a certain position as requested by the Crew Managers.
3. Save document’s scanned copy to seafarer’s individual 201 folders on the shared drive.
4. Updates ex-crew records in the crew system.
5. Updates training/license certificates of all crew in the crew system.
6. Encodes additional crew for allotment and other details.
7. Acknowledge all scanned documents by signing on the requirement checklist.
8. Return all crew documents to the requesting personnel
9. Performs such other task as may be assigned by superiors.

 

Required Experience

  • Graduate of any business-related course
  • Keen on details
  • Ability to multi-task and can handle time management
